RECLAIMED WOOD

SALVAGED BOARDS, BEAMS, AND SLABS FROM COLORADO AND BEYOND!

RECLAIMED WOOD IS OUR SPECIALTY

At Salvage Design Center, our lumber selection only includes salvaged or reclaimed wood. Our boards, beams, and live edge slabs are all either sourced from old buildings (barns, houses, and other structures that need to come down) or harvested from damaged or fallen trees (in the forest or urban areas).

We choose reclaimed wood not only for its history and unmistakable character, but also for its sustainability. We prefer to keep healthy trees in the ground while reusing and repurposing old lumber for as long as possible!

Each type of reclaimed wood we carry has different stories, different qualities, and different strengths. We're happy to walk you through our show room to help you choose the perfect reclaimed wood for your project! We accept orders small and large, and can also provide additional services like cutting, sanding, planing, staining, and finishing.

OUR RECLAIMED WOOD SELECTION INCLUDES:

Salvaged Oak Butcher Block

SALVAGED OAK BUTCHER BLOCK

This versatile reclaimed wood comes primarily from the flooring of old tractor trailers. Originally built with strips of solid oak, these planks are typically marked with scrapes, scratches, and bolt holes.

As sturdy as it is sustainable, this material is great for tables, counters, bars, & more!

Reclaimed Barn Wood

Genuine barn wood adds a warm, rustic feel to any project. We typically carry 1"x and 2"x material of varying widths, as well as beams and mantels.

Live Edge Slabs

LIVE EDGE SLABS

We carry a large selection live edge slabs (also called "natural edge" slabs), including Beetle Kill Pine sourced from local standing timber, and Urban Forested Slabs sourced from local tree services.

Live edge slabs are perfect for shelves, benches, tables, serving platters, and more!

Colorado Beetle Kill Pine

Also known as Blue Stain Pine, this salvaged lumber comes from Colorado pine trees that were killed by the Mountain Pine Beetle. The blue-grey coloration comes from a fungus (which is burnt away in the drying process) that spreads from bark beetles to pine trees.

The stunning colors have made this a sought after material for designers and builders across the Rocky Mountain region!
